Mobile rigs and jobsites: power planning, surge management, hose/fitting choices, moisture control, and redundancy for uptime.

About

Former site lead turned outfitter of vans and trailers, I build compressor systems that start every morning and keep crews on schedule.

Core Beliefs

Reliability comes from matching the air system to the task and the power source, not from brand decals.

Background

On a pour day, a crew’s compressor kept tripping a GFCI at startup. We clamped the draw, saw ugly surge, and traced voltage drop through a too‑long cord. A soft‑start inverter generator and proper‑gauge lead fixed it. Air tools ran, schedule held, and nobody babysat breakers.

Perspective

I favor field-serviceable components, standard fittings, and simple plumbing that’s easy to diagnose and repair.
