Spray finishing and precision air use: filtration, drying, regulation at the tool, and pressure-drop management.

About

I help small shops achieve spec-grade finishes by dialing in clean, dry air and stable pressures from compressor to tool.

Core Beliefs

Finish quality is a system result: clean, dry, and stable pressure beat guesswork.

Background

A body shop battling fish‑eyes blamed paint. We measured pressure at the gun—100 psi at tank fell to 28 at trigger—and found wet lines. A desiccant tower, fresh hose, and a regulator at the handle turned orange peel into glass. Rejects fell by ninety percent the next week.

Perspective

I oversize filtration/drying and prefer regulator-at-tool layouts to protect finishes.
