About Us
Mission Statement
We help DIYers, trades pros, and mobile technicians build quiet, safe, right‑sized air systems that deliver verified performance at the tools and pressures they actually use—no more guessing from spec sheets.
Brand Story
DIY Pro Air was born on jobsites and in garages where compressors either scream, stall, or simply can’t keep up. We saw buyers choosing by tank size or peak horsepower, then discovering the hard way that “CFM at 90 PSI” doesn’t tell you what happens when a sander, die grinder, or HVLP gun is running for minutes, not seconds. So we built a lab and a field protocol that measures delivered CFM at working pressure, recovery time, duty‑cycle stress, decibels at the operator position, moisture control, and power draw across 120V/240V/gas/battery/12V. Every recommendation is a system recipe—compressor plus air treatment, hoses, regulators, wiring, and upgrade paths—so you get consistent air and a quieter, safer workspace.
We publish what we measure. Our test rigs simulate real tasks—nailing bursts, continuous DA sanding, paint spraying, wrenching—so you can match tools to compressors with confidence and plan for growth. The result: fewer returns, better finishes, less downtime, and a workday that flows.
Our Team
• The Lab Engineer: Designs fixtures, logs airflow and pressure with calibrated sensors, and validates results against known orifices and reference meters.
• The Pro Builder: Frames, trims, and installs for a living; stress‑tests nailer and finish setups for duty‑cycle and noise on residential sites.
• The Auto Tech: Runs impact tools, die grinders, and DA sanders; evaluates continuous‑load performance and moisture management for clean air.
• The Finishes Specialist: Tunes HVLP and LVLP recipes; focuses on air cleanliness, regulators, hose selection, and sound isolation for pro‑grade results.
• The Mobile Upfitter: Optimizes vans and service trucks for power, ventilation, mounting, and inverter/generator compatibility.
Together, we combine lab‑grade measurement with real‑world workflows to deliver task‑proven guidance you can trust.
